The Põltsamaa transaction has been completed

The acquisition of the Põltsamaa business from Orkla Eesti has been successfully completed. As of 1 May 2026, the production and distribution of Põltsamaa juices, beverages, soups, ready meals, and cabbage products is handled by Svensky’s subsidiary Aromella OÜ.

Aromella OÜ was established specifically to develop the Põltsamaa business further, bringing together the factory, the brand, and the entire existing team under one roof. All current employees continue in their roles and production carries on at its usual volume without interruption.

As an important part of the transaction, cooperation with Orkla Eesti will also continue — Orkla will continue to order various products from the Põltsamaa factory, including vegetable preserves. This partnership provides the factory with a solid order base and a strong foundation for further development.

Aromella’s guiding principle remains “Genuine and Good” — the same values that the Põltsamaa brand has stood for over decades. Local raw materials, time-tested recipes, and the production expertise of the Põltsamaa factory will remain the cornerstones of the company’s development under its new ownership.
